Project Hope Planning
In June 2019, Beacon Community Impact was awarded a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) planning grant to discover gaps in opiod use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery services and to design plans to address those gaps in Marshall County. Beacon Community Impact enlisted enFocus to carry out this discovery and coordinate the Project HOPE consortium in developing a strategic plan.
enFocus performed a gap analysis of services in Marshall County, identifying 14 strategies, that if implemented, could create and or improve the prevention, treatment and recovery services. Together with 32 organizations, the Project HOPE Consortium, Beacon Community Impact, and enFocus determined strategic, feasible, and sustainable tactics to address the opioid epidemic in Marshall County. These were reflected in a strategic plan, workforce plan and sustainability plan.
Beacon Community Impact utilized findings and plans from this collaborative project to apply for an implementation grant. A $1M implementation grant was awarded in August 2020.
