At enFocus, our team receives exceptional development opportunities to kickstart their career and gain knowledge to take their career to the next level. One way to expand our services to our stakeholders is providing career advancement through permanent staff positions for on-going project support, internal growth, and personal development.

Carlos Centellas, has recently been promoted to Citywide Classroom Coordinator to continue the success of the Citywide Classroom initiative. He shares, “Since its inception, the Citywide Classroom program has achieved remarkable success, with over 10,000 students participating. An integral part of this success can be attributed to the enFocus career advancement initiative, which has played a pivotal role in cultivating a talented and dedicated staff.” The development of our team provides Fellows the opportunity to foster expansion of successful ongoing projects, like Citywide Classroom, while also providing Sponsors a path to continue programs that have generated significant community impact.

Cultivating our company structure also provides capacity to create educational opportunities that help young professionals flourish alongside regional partners. Mike Bogdan, who has recently been promoted to Director of Learning and Development speaks to the opportunities he hopes to create for our Fellows. He says, “I'm excited to grow our institutional strength by guiding and supporting our staff in the execution of our projects and operations. I'm passionate about organizational health and am honored to help enFocus in this process.”

The experiences Mike aims to strengthen are worthy of investment because of the impact professional development opportunities are making on Fellow work. Caitlin Sears is a prime example of an enFocus Fellow who took advantage of her development opportunities and is now being promoted to enFocus Project Manager. She expands on professional development participation, and how it has helped her step into her new role at enFocus.

“As a fellow I was exposed to a variety of project types in sectors that provided me opportunities to clarify my career interests. I joined the project management team to continue working with our diverse portfolio with the goal of supporting the meaningful work of our fellows.”

The expansion of the enFocus business structure not only provides additional career growth within enFocus, but it also allows for the continued support of Sponsor projects, Fellow learning and development, and management opportunities. With the help of team members like Carlos, Mike, and Caitlin, we look forward to advancing enFocus to ensure the success of our staff members and community partners.
